Use the screen to shortlist

Website photographs and colour charts help identify options. They are not a colour tolerance or a guarantee of an exact match. Lighting, camera settings and screen settings can change the appearance of the same wire.

Compare the finish as well as the colour

A metallic, lacquered or anodised surface can look different as lighting or viewing angle changes. Compare samples under lighting relevant to the finished display. Check whether gloss and texture matter alongside the colour name.

Match the exact product

A colour offered on one wire family is not automatically offered on another size, material or profile. Include product name, size and colour reference in the enquiry. Our catalogue colour numbers identify options within the relevant range; they are not universal colour standards.

Agree the reference

If a close match is important, supply a physical reference and agree how the sample and production will be compared. Keep the agreed sample with the order record. A printed chart, a screen image and coated metal may look different.
